Mugume Stephen is a Results-oriented, innovative, international attorney with over fifteen years’ experience in the justice sector. Worked with the East African Community as Senior Counsel, and excelled in ensuring the legality and efficiency of international obligations, interpretation and compliance with the various policies, rules and regulations, providing legal support, advice and services to clients. Mugume is highly knowledgeable in Legal and Legislative Drafting, Corporate and Commercial matters, Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods and Intellectual Property. Advocate of the rights of the vulnerable, marginalized, provided legal counsel to victims of human rights violations. Achieved favorable outcomes in rights negotiations and agreement implementation. Adept at drafting and reviewing legal documents, opinions, contracts, policies and regulations, also well versed with conveyancing and Finance matters. He is a member of Rwanda Bar Association, Kigali International Arbitration Centre (KIAC) and East African Law Society.
