Sylvia Wibabara is a legal specialist, business lawyer and a certified arbitrator with Master of laws (LL.M) in International Business and Economic law, three diplomas (in legal practice, Management and Administration and in Secretarial Studies) and 35 certificates in diverse fields.

Among other accomplishments, Ms Sylvia contributed to a successful privatization Program implementation in Rwanda, contributed to the World Bank doing business report, negotiated several business deals both within and outside Rwanda, the most recent being 80mw Peat-fired power plant project for Yumn ltd in London UK , was nominated to Government and private business implementation committees, sat on boards, organized and managed bank’s legal, collateral, T24 and insurance systems, spearheaded and participated in committees for privatization of public Assets and corporate restructuring (more than 20 public enterprises and companies), oversaw, coordinated and managed thirty five offices with more than 100 staff implementing a World Bank sponsored Demobilization and Reintegration project that aimed at, among others, improving the lives of ex-combatants through different social-economic projects across Rwanda.
She has experience working with all levels of Rwanda Government, Private sector, Financial institutions, NGOs, Cooperatives, advising on laws, systems and procedures.
